Brighton Beach: A Profile

BROOKLYN, NY – My Russian heritage drew me to Brighton Beach for my final multimedia project of fall 2015. Familiar with the area since childhood and eager to track the development of Russian Brooklynite culture, I created a package complete with a brief history of Brighton Beach and how the area is evolving today.

Democrats on Democrats: Watching the First Debate

NEW YORK, NY  On Tuesday, October 13th, I attended a Democratic debate watch party at Quinn’s Bar & Grill hosted by Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century, an independent, grassroots organization that advocates interest and participation in progressive politics and current events. In my first-ever video package, I aim to capture the atmosphere of the event as well as the expectations and reactions of its attendees.
